Parallel is a film that rises to the challenge of finding a way to to represent the international movement of people that is so charasteristic of contemporary life. Collins uses three screens to describe three very differents experiences of time and place that have resulted from migration. Parallel tells the stories of three people. Dewa, a Cameronian, who lives in Madrid. Pamela, a Ugandiane, who lives in Rome. Also Constantine, an Ivoriane who has lived in London the last 8 years.
Ir a ver la exposición,abre un poquito los ojos, y ves la migración desde otro punto que no son ni las pateras, o las entradas ilegales. Es mucho más que eso. Aparte de esta exposición, hay otras lo suficientemente interesantes como para amortizar el viaje más que de sobra.
La exposición acaba el 21 de Febrero, que lo tengais en cuenta.
PS. Perdonad el rollo en inglés, pero me ha parecido más interesante, sobre todo para que tuviese cierta coherencia, el no traducirlo.
